Guides Hub

Welcome to the Paint to Get Rich guides hub. These walkthroughs cover the full Toasty Works tycoon loop on Roblox: paint a canvas, collect Stars from appraisal, display the piece, negotiate Cash, buy green upgrades, and Prestige when the live menu says you are ready.

Use this page as a map. Each guide below is written for search-style questions (how to sell, how to Prestige, how to unlock World 2) and cross-links to codes, scripts, the tier list, hired artists, updates, and the controls wiki.

Start here

  • Getting Started — first-hour paint → sell → upgrade loop, PC controls, and early Cash advice.
  • How to Sell Paintings — appraisal grades, Stars, display stands, negotiation, and sold counters.
  • Upgrade Tier List — which green buttons to buy early versus later, and when artists or auction unlocks matter.
  • Studio Upgrades — how green Cash pads work across ~33 Artist Alley upgrades.

Worlds, systems, and collectibles

  • Artist Alley — World 1 studio overview: paint, sell, upgrade, auction, Prestige bridge.
  • Auction House — third-floor auctions about every five minutes, when to save masterpieces, and a light secret tip.
  • Badges — First Stroke, Sold!, star artist awards, Fresh Canvas, Museum Bound, Curiosity Found the Cat.
  • Prestige Guide — requirements, what resets, permanent Cash multiplier, and prep before Begin Prestige.
  • Museum / World 2 — reported Prestige 3 unlock, Museum Bound badge, and how W2 differs from Artist Alley.
  • Codes Hub — no active codes as of October 2026; redemption checklist for future drops.
  • Scripts Hub — claimed Auto Paint / Auto Sell features with ban-risk warnings (no exploit code).
  • Players / Hired Artists — when NPC painters help and why they are weak for Prestige grinding.
  • Updates Hub — Museum World 2 notes and the weekly worlds roadmap.
  • Controls & Wiki — WASD, Space, E, LMB paint, and a compact systems overview.

How the guide set fits together

Artist Alley is the first world: build a studio with roughly 33 upgrades that can total several million Cash. Buyers improve as the studio grows. Stars from strong appraisals feed Prestige math alongside Cash earned and paintings sold. The auction house on floor three is a premium sell window, not a spam button.

Prestige is the rebirth-style reset. Confirming Begin Prestige clears Cash, upgrades, paintings, hired artists, and archive progress while keeping a Cash multiplier. Players report World 2 / The Museum unlocking around Prestige 3, with badges such as Fresh Canvas (first Prestige) and Museum Bound (W2).

Read guides in this order if you are brand new:

  1. Getting Started
  2. How to Sell
  3. Studio Upgrades + Tier List for early buttons
  4. Artist Alley overview once the studio feels busy
  5. Auction House once the third floor opens
  6. Badges checklist for Fresh Canvas and Museum Bound
  7. Prestige when the left-side menu requirements fill
  8. Museum / World 2 after the third Prestige climb

Veterans can jump straight to Prestige prep or Museum differences, then circle back to selling tips when Cash stalls.

Writing standards on this wiki

Every guide aims for practical depth: clear steps, internal links with trailing slashes, and FAQs that match real player questions. We keep official game terms—Cash, Stars, Prestige, Artist Alley, Museum, Sell, Begin Prestige—consistent across pages so nothing contradicts the facts players see in-game.

When Toasty Works ships a weekly world or UI change, start at Updates, then return here if a mechanic guide needs a follow-up pass.
