Paint to Get Rich Badges
Every tracked badge from first painting to Museum Bound, plus the Curiosity Found the Cat secret.
Paint to Get Rich badges track milestones across Artist Alley, Prestige, and World 2. This guide lists the current Roblox badge set for the Toasty Works experience, explains what each award means for progression, and notes which ones are easy versus easy to miss.
Badge text can lag behind live menus. When a badge description and the Prestige panel disagree on numbers, trust the in-game Prestige meters for requirements and treat badges as celebration markers.

Early-loop badges: First Stroke and Sold!
These two fire during a normal first session if you follow Getting Started:
- Paint a canvas with LMB until it completes (First Stroke).
- Place it on a display stand, wait for a buyer, negotiate, and press Sell (Sold!).
If Sold! does not appear, you likely appraised a piece without confirming a sale. Street offers and auction house sales both count as sells once confirmed.
Star artist badges: Four-Star and Five-Star
Appraisal awards Stars that later feed Prestige requirements. Four-Star and Five-Star badges reward quality spikes:
- Keep painting volume while you learn tools—volume teaches timing, and Stars teach which canvases to hold.
- Save five-Star work for auctions when the third-floor window is available (~every five minutes).
- Do not assume stroke count alone guarantees five Stars; use the grade the game shows after completion.
Deep selling advice: How to Sell Paintings. Upgrade pads that improve canvas quality sit high on the tier list.
Fresh Canvas — first Prestige badge
Fresh Canvas marks your first confirmed Begin Prestige. Prestige is a full run wipe: Cash, studio upgrades, paintings, hired artists, and archives reset while a permanent Cash multiplier remains. Read the Prestige guide before you click confirm.
Prep checklist before Fresh Canvas:
- Finish sales you want counted on the sold meter
- Spend only on pads that help finish Cash / Stars / sold lines
- Accept that cosmetics and artists disappear
- Avoid Auto Prestige scripts (Scripts Hub)
Museum Bound — World 2 destination badge
Museum Bound confirms you reached W2 / The Museum. Community reports still point to unlocking Museum content around Prestige 3, but the badge itself does not print a permanent formula. Follow live unlock prompts if they differ.
Before you chase Museum Bound:
- Learn Artist Alley thoroughly (Artist Alley guide).
- Complete at least one clean Prestige with Fresh Canvas.
- Use the Museum / World 2 guide for destination differences.
Curiosity Found the Cat — secret badge
Curiosity Found the Cat awards explorers who find the dancing cat in the secret storage room behind the auction painting. Practical notes:
- Unlock third-floor auction pathing first
- Explore auction-adjacent storage carefully
- Treat the badge as optional flavor, not a Cash or Prestige shortcut
- Spoil exact click paths lightly so friends can discover it
Auction economy still matters more than the secret: see the auction house guide.
What badges do not replace
Badges do not:
- Replace live Prestige requirement numbers
- Grant promo codes (none confirmed active as of October 2026)
- Make hired artists strong enough to skip manual painting
- Unlock Museum without the Prestige path the game currently uses
Use badges as a checklist beside real systems: green studio upgrades, Stars, auctions, and weekly world notes on Updates.
Suggested badge route for new players
- First Stroke → Sold! in session one
- Four-Star Artist while funding early S-tier pads
- Five-Star Artist once quality pads and auction access exist
- Fresh Canvas on a planned Prestige
- Museum Bound after further Prestige climbs (often Prestige 3)
- Curiosity Found the Cat whenever you enjoy exploring floor three
